Student Teaching
My student teaching is going really well. My cooperating teacher is really nice and I like working with her. Right now I'm trying to figure out what to do with my summer. I have many options. I could take more grad classes to get further ahead on my masters, I could get temporary summer employment, I could run away to another country, part or most of the summer, and I even thought about being a camp counselor. So many options. What to do?

Cutest Dog in the World
My Elijah is so cute. Here he is playing with me at the leash free park today.
"I'm gonna get you!"
"Hmmmm, what do we have here?"
He finally found someone his own size, he was super excited to meet Bailey and his nice owner in the park today. He got some hot butt sniffing action. Did I really say that? Yes, I think I did.

Judy's Book
There's a great website for referring people to cool places or businesses around Austin, called Judy's Book. I've found some cool places and a new dentist. You link to your friends and you can share your recommendations with them, or you can search other people's in the city. My friend Sarah has written many reviews for them and I have a few on there too. (And sometimes they offer prizes like Starbucks cards for filling out reviews. Not a bad deal.) I would love for all my friends to add stuff because I was looking for a cleaners the other day and I couldn't find one close to my house on there. Where is a good cheap cleaners near the arboretum??

The Party is Over
Well back to work tomorrow. I'll be at the high school for two more weeks, then off to a different high school to student teach. And I'm turning 29 soon, which seems weird. Time goes by fast, life is different now. Change is inevitable. Anyways, my goal for this year is spiritual growth and health. I'm going to think more about what I deeply desire than what I think would be good for me. I'm going to try and take more risks, cause the stuff I really want to do, I'm terrified of. But anyways I also wanted to wish a happy new year to everyone. And thanks Tim for the hug yesterday, I really needed it.
