Blessings

Why does it seem that great blessings always come hand in hand with sorrows? I have lost yet another friend. I don't understand. It just sucks. I'm angry. I'm sad. I honestly can't fathom why it has to be this way. I've done everything by the book and with the utmost sensitivity. And it means nothing.

Good luck with your life my friend. I'm thankful for your friendship. Maybe one day we can repair this mangled thing. I've stopped holding my breath. I move on.

You don't lose friends - someone is either your friend or they aren't. Sometimes you lose contact with a friend for awhile, but that doesn't mean the friendship is gone.

Exactly what Evans said, no worries mate. Time is not limited to momments, days, or years, there are freinds for a season and freinds for a reason, (Bleh I cant't beleive I just said that!). You know whats there and what is true, give up and loose somebody cool? I think not!

I'm really late in responding...as usual. Laura, I don't think a true friend can ever be lost. If they are your friend, they are there through thick & thin. They may get upset, as I have at many of my friends, but you learn to suck it up. With age, friendship becomes so much more important, you can't let the small things get in the way. Although I'm often too busy to enjoy most of mine (sorry, Laura), I still love all my friends & hope that they still love me. :) I'm goofy that way. Anyways...I hope you have cheered up since this posting. Talk to you soon, Jenny :)

One Down, One More to GO

So I just found out that I made a 95 in my Secondary Curriculum class. Sweet!!! And I thought I did terribly! Guess not. So now I have one last take home final due this evening. Almost done. Phewwww!

Efren Ramirez of Napoleon Dynamite

The Alamo Drafthouse was showing Napoleon Dynamite with special guest "Pedro" (Efren Ramirez). A group of us went to meet Pedro all wearing our "Vote for Pedro" T-shirts. Special thanks to one of my students who made the iron-ons, thanks Lauren. And to our surprise they were taking glamour shots while we waited to be seated... I think my sweetie looks fabulous in pink:)

Here's Efren's glamour shot with some random girl... Did I mention that I got him to sign my shirt? Well he did thanks to my friends' (especially CJ's) encouragement to go and ask him. He also gave me a hug afterwards when I was going to just respectfully shake his hand. What a nice guy. He's enjoying his moment in the sun for sure.
