Going Home
Tonight is my last night in Seattle, and to tell you the truth it has been awesome. I just love Seattle in the summertime. Cat has been the best most wonderful host, put up with my whims, taken me to beautiful places, had mochas with me, seen re-enactments of Single White Female and so much more. I'll blog more later but now I'm super duper tired and must get to bed so I can wake up, pack and get back to Austin. And I'll post so many pictures too. Yipee! See you Texans soon. Love to you Seattlites for a wonderful visit. Special love to Dieter and Cat, wink, wink!!!

Living it up in Seattle
Yep I'm in Seattle, I bought a ticket for the next day...and it's beautiful here, I'm happy, content, peaceful...applying for jobs online at UT, trying on my friend Rod's straight jacket, playing pool, walking in the market, eating the most amazing peaches I've ever eaten in my life, drinking bubble tea, having sushi in the University District....ahhhh Seattle...so nice.... Thanks to Cat for her amazing hospitality!

Chronicles of the FUNemployment
So let's see what I did today...well I woke up this morning at the
early hour of 10am...yawn...stretch...and met my mom at my sister's
house, we went to Shady Grove and Barton Springs and got some snowcones
at Casey's...very busy and stressful as you can tell. The only
crisis today was that Kim's dog Django got into our rat poison and had
to go to the emergency animal hospital. They made him do a little
doggie puking confirmed our suspicions and gave him the antidote for
that kind of poison. Phewwww close one...... I love that cute
little deer of a dog, I'm glad he's going to be just fine.
So let's see what I did today...well I woke up this morning at the

The beach..I was kidnapped by my friend Jacqueline on Monday night and Tuesday we ran away to the beach...by Wed morning we were floating on some nice chill Gulf of Mexico type waves...the bath tub of the ocean...these moments are the ones where we get to remember what makes it all worth it...ahhhhh to be alive!!!! Tomorrow, my mother comes in town, Kim and I are whisking her away to Barton Springs and then some live music at Stubbs...good times!

My evil boss fired me
I have never been fired. Ever. I'm a good person, I'm a good employee. I get this new boss who has been at the Food Bank for two months and she fires me. She is uncaring, awful, anal retentive, corporate, and well just absolutely awful. It was very unfair. I feel very sad and very relieved. So if you know of a place where people are warm and caring I'd like to work there. ¶ 7/12/2004

Glad to hear there's resolution and you'll be away from the evil woman. Sad to hear you were fired, but good to hear you'll get unemployment (aka FUNemployment!) while you look for someplace better to work. I keep wishing to be laid off and collect unemployment so I can go travel. Alas, still working tons of hours. Hey... if you want a couch to crash on for a week, you know where you're always welcome. :) I'd even split the plane ticket with you! Lots of love!

It's Gonna Be Ok
